What exactly constitutes sickness Royal's insurance

According to the policy "sickness. injury or death as diagnosed by a doctor at the time your cruise is terminated.

 

Doctor's note says chest infection and cough, not infectious.

 

So wondering if that is even covered if we didn't go.

I'm not a claims agent but I don't see anything indicating the Dr. is saying that they recommend you not travel.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well.  Husband is coughing and hacking away and I'm sure fellow passengers are NOT going to want to be around him yet if he does not go I don't think he will be covered

The doctors note should "advise against going" and a claims adjuster may request a copy of the pertinent portion of your husband's medical file to back up the advise against travel.
