March 14th Ovation Sri Lanka to Dubai VISAS

I have just been told to get a Tourist visa by our agent and not a Transit visa for Sri Lanka because we are now departing from Colombo and not Singapore.

I already have a Transit visa and the online application will not let me apply for the Tourist Visa because it says I already have a valid visa.

 

What do I do now? Its all getting too much hassle

I’d recommend telephoning the number on the site. I had a different problem which was solved very promptly after talking with them.

If, you are based in UK, though this would work elsewhere, contact the Sri lankan Embassy/High Commision and speak to someone, They may well be able to sort it out. They are keen to encourage tourism after the bombings, so I'm sure they will try to fix this for you.
