Recommendations For Private Tours Please

In Wellington the Te Papa museum is a must. I was there in February and the WW1 exhibit was still there, to my surprise. It is a remarkable piece of work of great interest to those interested in WW1 and, especially, New Zealand's involvement.

The museum is on the harbour waterfront and an easy to/stroll from the shuttle drop off. Also, admission is free.

I am pretty certain we just picked up the tour at the Port. We went with 2 other couples in a 12 seater van. Very comfortable and reasonably priced. Maybe somebody else can help me out here as it was a few years ago but quite a few of the ports in NZ have tour guides selling tours on the docks.
