Food Republic - Favorite Items?

I’m excited to try Food Republic for the first time. I’m not going to get too many chances to eat there, so what are some of your favorites? I’ve looked at the menu before and honestly I could eat any (and all) of it, but due to the constraints of a human stomach and wallet, I must prioritize.

If I had to pick right now I would probably pick the lamb, ramen, poke nachos, and a sushi roll.

Chicken Teriyaki and Korean Fried Chicken were the winners at our table

 

Not a sushi eater but the rest of my family was not thrilled about their sushi

Thanks, the Korean Fried Chicken was on my alternates list. Good to know about the sushi. I will probably try it anyway but this at least helps manage my expectations.

 

I saw in another thread that someone didn't love the ramen, so I will temper expectations for that as well if I decide to get it.

Korean Fried Chicken

and for dessert the Chocolate Black Forrest

I've read reviews here that stated it was like gas station sushi.  When I asked my wife who loves sushi she did not agree with that assessment but said it was 2 levels above gas station sushi.  They just were not wowed with it but loved my chicken.

Pastrami dumplings and pork cutlet (tonkatsu) are both amazing!

Had dinner there last night.  The sushi rolls were a big disappointment.  Incredibly thin slices of fish.  The hamachi crudo was good.  Shrimp Pad Thai average.

That’s interesting, seems the shrimp pad Thai has been hot or miss. Which ship are you on?

Probably a one-off, but when we ordered it, the noodles were gummy.,
