The best I can tell you is to do a mock booking for your sailing, then phone your TA, your PVP, or Carnival, depending on how you booked.

Yeah, already done that. I'm actually looking to be placed on a list of some sort that we're open to a reasonable upsell.

Current upgrade would be $1300 if we do it ourselves.

I only got the same one I got two months ago (again!) yesterday. First one in a few weeks.

Currently mid-ship Riviera deck, interior, and "upsell" was aft, interior, Empress deck (aft = last room) for $39.

I'll keep my cheap room and hope they send me a decent ocean view upsell to consider.

How did you receive this offer? Was it through email?

Address?

Check your "to do" area of your cruise. If there is an upsell, there will be an area that says something like "exclusive offer". Click on that, and you will see any upsell information. In the past though, I have gotten them through email, but it is more common to have it in the "to do" cruise area.

I thought the upsell "fairy" was something that was random? I've been sailing with Carnival for over 17 years before I got an upsell offer 2 years ago. It was a good upsell, though. I went from Ocean view to Spa balcony deck for only $99.

With all the cancelations going on, we're looking to upgrade.

No cancellations on the cruises that I booked... they are nearly sold out -- maybe 30 to 40 cabins left, and quickly declining.

This leaves me to believe there are not as many cancellations going on as some may think.

we are traveling on the Breeze 3/28.  Got an offer to upgrade to an OV for $230.......  our room IS right now is almost $200 cheaper than what we paid..... RIDICULOUS 😞  so frustrating when you book and can't get the best prices. Our daughter got a casino offer so it would've been cheaper to add her to the cruise & go with her rate.  We would've saved $400 but nope they wouldn't let us add her and move into her balcony promo
