What can you buy with a NCL FCC

I finally have my FCC but would like to know if it only covers the cost of a new cruise (including taxes and fees)

Also, can the credit be used for prepaid gratuities, shore excursions, food and drink packages etc.

I checked the internet and it seems to vary by cruiseline.

From what I have been told , Prepaid gratuities and shore excursions , yes . Food and drink packages , No.  You can use it for the gratuities on the free at sea but not if you are purchasing a dining package for a 3rd person.

We rebooked for our family of 4 (2 cabins) with our FCC and used it to cover our entire cruise fare, taxes, drink pkg gratuities, dining package gratuities, and regular gratuities. If you want to use your FCC for shore excursions you have to call to book them so they can apply the fcc to it.

We were able to use ours for everything as well, and I did prepay gratuities for the cruise, as well as the unlimited streaming WiFi.  Still have $ left over.
