Luke104 Posted April 22, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2020 This morning I notice that NCL decided to keep the "Sun" cruising out of the Florida, (instead of Alaska) for the summer. Of course that remains to be seen, due to the virus. On their website dates are shown from June on. I'm glad to see that NCL decided to keep a ship located there for the summer. As a resident of florida, I enjoy the short 5 day cruises. Just a short drive, no overnite stays, and boarding a smaller ship makes it easy on/off. What do others think of their decision.

roger001 Posted April 22, 2020 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2020 Since the Alaska cruise are not going to happen, got to put the ship somewhere else. but, I doubt if the Sun will, or any of the ships will be sailing at all for many months.
Rare Georgia_Peaches Posted April 22, 2020 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2020 Agree that the Sun is a good little ship for those quick turn-around cruises. We've sailed on her a few times for the short cruises and had a great time. Not a lot to do for the kiddos though so families should keep that in mind if/when cruising does resume. I expect that many of the ships in the NCL fleet will be redeployed for new itineraries. The coming months will tell.
