Canadian Rockies Cruise Tour

Does anyone have any experience with the Canadian Rockies Cruise Tour from Vancouver after the Alaska cruise? We are booked on Celebrity Millennium next year and just added this tour but any experience is welcome.  I did do a search but did not come up with anything.  Thanks.

It is booked through Celebrity, Tour 1CA. Vancouver to Jasper via overnight train.  Then a coach to Lake Louise, Banff, Calgary.  Flight home is from Calgary. Hotels are all Fairmonts.  Must be popular because we got the last slot.

There are many options to tour the Rockies from Vancouver to Calgary. Personally, I would hire a car or small motorhome and plan a route, based on what we want to see.

 

In the summer, it is an easy drive and only travel during daylight.

Thanks for the recommendation but we prefer not to have to drive on our own, thus the cruise tour.

Ahh, OK.  We are doing an Alaska land tour combination with the land touring prior to the southbound cruise (Celebrity 8B). We start in Fairbanks and work our way down to Seward, where we board the ship.  This will be our 3rd Alaskan cruise and the first time we've done a land tour up there.  I am seriously looking at a Canadian Rockies train tour in the future though... looks breathtaking, and I'm sure you'll have a marvelous time!
