katiel53 Posted May 28, 2020 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2020 I asked the Club Royale people if my Nov cruise gets cancelled will I be able to use that offer after that? I was told that the offer for my cruise has expired, so no, I won't be able to book another cruise based on the Nov cruise. I am hoping that we will be able to sail. Sunshine3601 Posted May 28, 2020 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2020 I have a 2 future casino cruises booked and was told in the last week that you cannot lift and shift casino cruises. While technically you can do the L&S program but you will have to pay for it. So far I have lost a total of 2 casino cruises and hope not to loose anymore. Now a new twist (good one) Club Royale is offering customers that had their casino cruises cancelled in this 3rd round of cancellations for June 13th to July 31st the opportunity to book a new comped cruise. If your August 3rd cruise gets cancelled by RCL then you should call the clubroyale number and ask for a replacement cruise. Also, did you notice online your annual free casino cruise can now be used up thru March 2022 and I was told we will still get another freebie posted to our club royale accounts April 2021. Nice to see some great news coming from club royale.
skibum46 Posted May 28, 2020 Author #5 Share Posted May 28, 2020 I tried to book the annual cruise in May they told me I had to book the cruise after March 31st. So I booked a cruise for November of this year I can book the May after the 31st of March.
tiggy85 Posted May 28, 2020 #6 Share Posted May 28, 2020 I have dealt with this - Celebrity I got a free cruise offer for RC through MLife back in August 2019 And I was required to book by October 2019. I booked my cruise for April 25th 2020 with Celebrity which obviously didn’t happen. I called the casino line the day before they announced the cancellation and they moved me to a cruise in 2021. I had to repay port fees and taxes but they claimed I’d be refunded for those fees on the cruise I cancelled ( I still haven’t been refunded). There was no formal program or L&S when this all happened but the rep was very accommodating.
wannagonow123 Posted May 29, 2020 #7 Share Posted May 29, 2020 I did have a free cruise cancelled for July. No, they do not allow you to rebook as the offer code they applied to the original booking is no longer valid. They do refund port fees/ taxes /upgrades/extras. They will check to see if you have any other offers available, however they have really slowed down on the offers. ( That tells me they are really not confident they will be sailing soon. When I booked, I had a page full of offers, and now I only have my annual cruise listed.) If you used a certificate to book, you need to tell them, and they will reissue with a new expiration date.
