Exactly!  Plus, in addition to physical limitations, everybody has priorities ... it certainly doesn't make them stupid.  Glacier Bay is an hours long event.  I'm sure some just can't be on their feet vying for a suitable spot for hours on end.  

 

Your post made me think of a time we were on a Celebrity cruise during spring break, but it certainly was not a spring break cruise.  We were sitting up front in Observation Lounge while anchored off the coast of Monterey.  It was so relaxing and from time to time, we could see whales popping up out of the water all around us.  There were a couple of women also there and their 3 teenage kids came in and started complaining about not being able to use their cell phones.  They even said, 'this is intolerable'!   Well, we chimed to stop the complaining that went on for 10 minutes and to tell them about the whales right out front of the ship.  They just rolled their eyes.  hahaha!!  Priorities ... LOL!!
