Recent Summit cabin question

By chance, does anyone know where the window washing platform is

located on deck 8? We’re considering a C2, 8046 and 8048. Back in 2015, the window washing 

platform was outside 8048, ruining the aft view for both of those cabins. Anyone have more 

up to date information?

I doubt it was moved.  There were no noticeable changes to the exterior other than paint.  Sliding glass doors,  railings, balcony dividers weren’t replaced some were chipped and rusty.

Can't help with window-washer location, but have stayed in 8046 and the larger angled balcony is nice.  However, that larger balcony makes the balcony in 8048 not-private (right next to the angled balcony). The person standing at the edge of the 8046 balcony can look right on to the balcony in 8048.  I would not stay in 8048.

 

Prefer the "sweet-16" cabins to either of these.

Can you tell me where to find a list of the sweet sixteen cabins on Summit?

One last thought - 

 

If C1 is in your budget, the balconies of these aft cabins are amazing on all M-Class ships.
