lwrightuk Posted June 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2020 Hi, This will be our first westbound transatlantic cruise (Rome to New York in November). I am looking for opinions and advice on the best cabin location, port or starboard for sun/warmth (if any) and little wind. I've googled and searched with no luck, so I'm hoping someone here can help. Thanks.
Rare Essiesmom Posted June 12, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2020 The sun will be to your south, so you want a port cabin/balcony, though it may be a bit chilly to sit out on the balcony. EM
cb at sea Posted June 15, 2020 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2020 There will be wind, no matter WHICH side you're on. Going westbound, the sun is strongest on the starboard (right) side.

Peruse the boards long enough and you will learn how much credence to give to posts by cb. EM Edited June 15, 2020 by Essiesmom

EM Also, someone who has no passport (by her own admission) and only cruises to the Caribbean, obviously has never taken a transatlantic voyage of any sort and should not be offering any advice on them. Personal experience, CB.
