Lift and Shift - Any luck w/ different length?

Has anyone had any luck doing a lift and shift from a 7 day to a 9 day? Currently booked on Oasis for New Year 2020 but would like to shift it to New Year 2021. Not thrilled with any 7 day option for 2021 (would have to fly either before Christmas or on Christmas Day) and would like to shift to the Allure departing on 12/30 but its a 9 day. Wondering if anyone has had luck with something like this?  Thank you!

Must be the same length.  I’ve read about maybe 2 exceptions where they allowed it to be off by a day and that was only because there were absolutely no other itineraries that met  the criteria. 
 

Just checked the allowable list and it’s not on there.  The 7 day Allure Dec 23 is.

We switched from a 7-day Rhapsody Greek Isles this year to a 9-day Odyssey Greek Isles next year. I didn't even try to get price protected because I am getting an extra two days. I'm just content that there was no change fee.

Thank you for the information!  Is the allowable list published anywhere? That may help us figure out what our options are.

Unfortunately the list is not available for public viewing.  Travel agents with a reservation they are looking at shifting can better the reservation number into an online tool and see acceptable sailings.  I just happen to be on the Christmas sailing on Oasis so I basically see the same options as you would have. 
 

You are basically looking at Oasis, Harmony For either Christmas or New Years or Christmas on Allure.  Symphony is not doing 7 day itineraries.

 

doesn’t make sense doing a lift and shift to a non holiday sailing as it would be at a lower price.  There are other non Oasis class ships available as well.

Thank you Ken!  Can I L&S a New Year cruise to Christmas (or Christmas to New Year)? I thought it was a one for one.. Christmas to Christmas or New Year to New Year. That may open up some options for us!  Really appreciate all of your knowledge and willingness to share.

They are interchangeable.  Just be careful on your pricing and ships.  Christmas is usually quite a bit cheaper than New Years so it may be easier just to move deposits.

Does anyone know if we can L&S a Club Royale free cruise? We are scheduled for a 4 night from Ft. Lauderdale on the Indy in August, and are now looking to L&S to the Mariner in March 2021 from Pt.Canaveral.

We did L&S for our cancelled July casino cruise. We had to sail before end February to be able to shift. 

 

We are hoping with new extension they extended it past February as we have 2 more casino cruises that fall in the new cancelation extension, but won’t find out specifics until Tuesday.
