Bobblehat71 Posted June 29, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2020 Hello, Looking to book a Dubai cruise next year and was wondering if anyone who's been could offer any advice on whether to go for the day in Dubai at the beginning of the cruise or at the end. The price is slightly higher for the last option and I assume that's because you get a full day and night instead of two halfish days and a night. Any thoughts on the two different itineraries would also be useful 🙂 Thanks
jeanlyon Posted June 29, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2020 A full day and a night would be my choice. Dubai is interesting to walk around. You can get the little boat across the creek, have an Indian meal, which is usually excellent. Have a drink in the Intercontinental pub if it's still there. Visit the gold soukh. sddsddean Posted June 29, 2020 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2020 We spent 6 days in Dubai (and 2 in Abu Dhabi) before our January cruise a couple of years ago and still didn't see it all! Try and have a few days there rather than cramming it into 'the day before you fly home'. If you are at all in to flowers/gardens, DO NOT miss the Miracle Gardens! Simon A couple of days in Dubai before the cruise is our preferred choice but cruise options for next year are pretty much limited to P&O and MSC. On haven't got any spare leave to take want a an Extra day or two at most and stay and cruise options for P&O appear to be limited.
