Showers on the Radiance

Do they have curtains or the plexiglass doors like they have on the Jewel?

What cabin? If you have a JS or higher that has a tub/shower combo, you'll get a curtain. The D-1s have the curved plexiglass. I don't know about the other categories - haven't gotten a peek at them yet!

We are in an E1. We are being waitlisted for a specific D1 that we want. It is being held by the groups department for 90 days, and after that, if no one has booked it, its ours:)

Radiance showers do NOT have the plexiglass in the non-suite cabins, they are shower curtains.

Was on Radiance last week in a junior suite. Had a tub/shower with a curtain (with not enough water pressure) in a bathroom that was rather STINKY! The cruise was awesome other than that.

We were in an E1 in November and they had shower curtains. The newer Radiance class ships have the plexiglass doors, but the Radiance did not.

We went into one of the D-1's when we disembarked in Vancouver, and I could have sworn it had the plexiglass shower. Hmmm. I guess I wasn't focussing properly.;)

I just came off the Radiance a few weeks ago and we had a D-1. Our shower had a curtain.

I agree. We were on the Radiance in a D-1 balcony in Alaska last August. We got to deal with the shower curtain.

We were on the Radiance last week and had a shower curtain...for whatever good it did! Still an enjoyable cruise.

Does anyone know if they are adding plexiglass shower doors or not? im assuming they arent as it must be a big job and cost a lot to do so.

We were on the Radiance in November in an E1 cabin. I took several wooden clip type clothes pins and clipped the bottom corner on each side of the shower curtain to the rim as best I could. Having each side secured seemed to keep the shower curtain from wrapping around you while you showered. It have to say the shower doors on the AOS were much nicer. We are booked on the Radiance again for November of this year. I hope they do put in shower doors.

D-1's & lower categories on the Radiance have the curtain. At least they did, last Oct during our Hawaii Cruise. Friends had a Jr Suite and they had a huge bathroom with a tub.

curtains... all except jr suite and above. make sure you put a towl on the floor

I've been in a D1, JS and GS on Radiance ALL in the past year - A D1 and GS both just last month. ALL have a curtain. In the D1 either you will get hugged by the curtain or your bathroom floor will be flooded unless you take a quickie shower. I don't mind the curtain in the suites but I really wish they'd put the doors into the smaller bathrooms.
