I have $216.26 FCC leftover from a cancelled cruise. What can I use this for? We are sailing on the Encore Feb. 24, 2021-March 1, 2021, I hope! Can it be used for dining? Specialty dinners? Shore Excursions? Tips? Any thing I left out?

Hello,

Here's what the FAQ says:

What can the FCC be used for?

Any bonus FCC amount is applied only to the voyage fare. The original, full value FCC can be applied and used for the following:

  • Voyage Fare
  • NCFs
  • Government Fees and Taxes
  • Pre-paid service charges
  • Beverage or dining gratuities (if part of the Free At Sea promotion selection)
  • Air purchased through Norwegian Cruise Line
  • Hotel purchased through Norwegian Cruise Line
  • Cruise tours purchased through Norwegian Cruise Line
  • Pre-booked and pre-paid shore excursions
  • Transfers
  • Essentials, Booksafe Standard or Platinum Travel Protection insurance (if purchased on the original suspended reservation)

Shore Excursions and I upgraded the drink package. You can not use it for dining.

If one has both FCC and "bonus" FCC from a cancelled sailing, which is applied first, towards the fare, when making a new booking?

I would hope they apply the bonus first, allowing for any remainder of the regular FCC to be used towards something in the above list.

@Summerstravel you can use it for the Promotion FAS for

Beverage or dining gratuities (if part of the Free At Sea promotion selection) as posted by Dolphin1313

All good.

Cheers
