Cruise really finally cancelled

Just heard from TA. Apparently  all Norwegian CRUISES cancelled till end of year. She asked if we want 100% refund or 125% FCC.   How long to we have to use the FCC?  It may be a while till she gets back to us. Probably bombarded with calls.

If NCL is doing what sister line Oceania is doing, the 125% FCC requires "book by" one year from FCC issue date for a "cruise by" that is approx. two years from FCC issue date.

BTW, if Oceania FCCs are then used for a future cruise that O later cancels, those FCCs are redeposited in your "profile" with new 1 year "use by" and 2 year "cruise by" deadlines.

 

As for a TA responding: We use three different ones from "mom/pop" operation to one among the largest cruise agencies in the US. During these Covid times, as regards communications about refunds, current/future bookings etc. we have yet not to get a reply on the same or next day. You may want to consider a TA change because the current challenges/issues are not about to go away.
