Insignia Steam Rooms?

Hello,

One of the highlights of a cruise ship for us is access to a steam room - a well maintained steam room. I am looking forward to hearing about your experience with the steam room(s) on the Insignia - pictures would be a bonus!

Me too, a wonderful luxury when I cruise.  The steam rooms are accessed directly from the men’s and ladies changing rooms.  They are well maintained (my experience is on Nautica) and produce a good hot and steamy temperature.   I would estimate they seat 6 comfortably, 8 cozily.   Enjoy!

Just to clarify if needed, each sex has their individual steam bath.

I personally tend to keep away from hot areas so I don't know anything about them. Just out of curiosity is a steam room and a sauna the same thing?

There is a wet sauna and a dry sauna. The wet sauna is often called a “ steam room “. 🍷
