Info Please - re: Yacht Club Pricing

We are currently looking at Yacht Club pricing for the Meraviglia for August this year.

After we've selected our cabin category, we are asked to "Select Your Offer" from two choices:

"Escape to Sea Cruise Only" and "All In Drinks and Wifi".

There's a $100 difference between the two choices, with the "All In" selection being the more expensive.

This would be our 4th Yacht Club cruise, and when pricing out each of the prior cruises, we never saw this Select Your Offer choice, and everything (drinks and, more recently, wifi) are all included.

So can anyone tell us why there are these two choices???

Thanks for the help.

Looks like you posted the same thread twice by accident. No worries, anyway I think those are just promos, MSC does them all the time using different, clever wording.

Sorry about the double post.  I tried Edit to delete one of the posts, but couldnt see how and where a delete option was!  ( Insert Rolling My Eyes emoji here!)

The two promotions within the Yacht Club pricing were very confusing.  First because we've never seen them before, but secondly, because the YC price changed when selecting them!  Since they shouldn't apply to YC, couldn't figure out why there would be a price change.

in any case, thanks for the reply ...  wonder if others are as baffled?

No, not baffled. This is reason #762 that we use a professional travel agent, he sorts through the various deals, promos and details and then suggests the best option for us. One of the reasons we loving having a TA. (and I agree with the other poster about the YC)

When in doubt, whatever you select can be resolved once onboard.

You'll love the Meraviglia Yacht Club.  If you are a sun worshipper however you'll have to drop down one deck right behind the Yacht Club to a seating area above the pool deck.  It's actually not bad, you get to hear the entertainment and meet other cruisers.

I just checked current pricing versus our Seashore B2B reservation for the first couple weeks of December and the price differential is almost 55% from what we are booked for the similar B2B stateroom?  Yikes.  It doesn't price out as high on selecting each week separately 🤨 and hoping up to the top stateroom deck, but for the same stateroom B2B that's quite a difference. 🙃

Now that Yacht Club comes with an internet package there is really no reason to select the All In rate.  Currently All In comes with nothing that is not already in the YC experience so the basic Sail Away rate is what you want.  Once in a while MSC adds OBC to the All In rate and then it may need to be considered.

Once you book a certain rate it can take a bit of effort to change it even if you're before final payment. Usually it's easier when you are increasing the total cost.  This booking rate cannot be changed once on the ship.
