12/8/21 Rhine Getaway on Viking scavenger hunt ideas

Greetings!  We are going 🙏 to travel down the Rhine from Amsterdam to Basel begining December 8th, 2021.  I’m beginning to plan an adult scavenger hunt for my small group.  Any ideas? Any tour ideas?

Amsterdam: gabel stones, statue of the little boy (mokum scrawl), #7 the narrowest house in Amsterdam on the inner canel...

Kinderdijk:

Cologne: an unusual item in the Christmas Market...something about the cathedral?

Koblenz: 🏰 Marksburg tour...

Rudesheim:

Speyer:

Strasburg: taste the best of Alsace tour...

Breisach:

Basel:

Rüdesheim: something unusual - finding the ruins of the Hindenburg Bridge

 

or touristy thing: Niederwalddenkmal on the hill for the view, but this may be too much in winter

Rüdesheim: Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet (loved this quirky little museum)

Basel: Basel Paper Mill Museum (medieval workshop) OR Pharmazie-Historische Museum (medieval medicine)

There is a company called lets roam which does city wide scavenger hunts if this is something your family enjoys.
