Sharon in AZ Posted June 27, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2021 We will be in San Francisco this November on a California Coastal Cruise. We have 2 days in San Francisco and really want to go to a good Dim Sum Restaurant in China Town. Any recommendations?

Not in Chinatown, but when I worked in the Financial District Yang Sing and Great Eastern Restaurant were very popular.

Fully agree that Yank Sing on Stevenson (Financial District) is the best one close to the cruise ship; better than anything in Chinatown. Dragon Beaux, however, out in the Richmond District is my current crush, but I don't get there that often because it is a cab ride/Uber from my office. I can walk to Yank Sing or Chinatown. I am doing an 8 day, San Diego to San Diego cruise in the fall on Celebrity Millennium just to get back on the water and since I go to Yank Sing all the time, I plan to go to Good Mong Kok Bakery, a phenomenal to-go only dim sum bakery and eat in my (our) suite on the ship. The better Chinese food in San Francisco has moved out to the Inner and Outer Sunset District and Inner and Outer Richmond District.
