Question about flowriding for those currently on Adventure

I talked to someone who was on the Adventure for the first sailing out of Nassau.  He said stand-up surfing was only permitted for advanced riders.  This was for safety reasons since riders have to load themselves and sports staff are not permitted to hold hands with guests who are learning to do stand-up.  I was just wondering if anyone who is currently on the Adventure or who sailed last week can update if this is still the case.
