nina_930 Posted July 2, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2021 So I am curious about the price difference here. Why is couples so much cheaper? What is considered a couple? Obviously significant others are couples, but my mom and I are sailing together as a "couple of people". Do we qualify for the couples price? Rare Wanna_Cruize Posted July 2, 2021 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2021 Yes you can qualify as a couple. I'm not so sure about two people traveling in separate cabins, but two people in one cabin qualify for the couple's price.

Rare BlerkOne Posted July 2, 2021 #4 Share Posted July 2, 2021 If you are in the same cabin you qualify. Don't ask, don't tell. A couple has always been cheaper than two singles. The theory is a single definitely plans on using the facilities, whereas one of a couple is likely to use more than the other.
Rare BoozinCroozin Posted July 2, 2021 #5 Share Posted July 2, 2021 I got the Thermal Suite couples for our 8-night cruise. I am not sure I will use it much, but I am sure my wife will. It also adds the extra shower when necessary because 2 women with one shower will take 3 hours to get ready for a dinner. I think ours was $169 for single and $250 for a couple.
