Does Carnival have alcohol for purchase for cabin use? You could buy bottles

for use in cabin, is it still available.

Yes they do, through their website before the cruise or via room service on the ship (you have to be in your cabin until it is delivered).

I am cruising to Alaska on 08/10/21 and it does have alcohol listed anywhere to buy. Only have drink packages.

It's a little hard to find on the website (oddly enough, you'd think they would make it easier). Go into cruise manager and look in the upper left hand corner for "Categories" right below the CCL logo. Click on the down arrow and select "In Room Food and Beverages".

Carnival sells many different types of bottles. On Average, they are about $100-120 after all fees for a 1 liter. Best value for alcohol on the ship if you're going to mainly stick to one type of liquor imo.
