mlbcruiser Posted July 18, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2021 As most of us have seen on the news, Germany is very unfortunately dealing with massive flooding in many areas of the country. Horrible situation for so many there! Does anyone know if there has been flooding or overly high river levels on the Seine in France? Has rain been extra frequent this year in the upper half of France? Thanks for any information on this issue.
Rare notamermaid Posted July 19, 2021 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2021 Winter saw flooding on the Seine, it was high but not extreme. Since then I have not heard anything specific but there has been more rain than some small rivers can take in Northeast France last week. The French page for this is easy to navigate, the colours are easy to understand and you just choose the area by clicking the map where you see the Seine: https://www.vigicrues.gouv.fr/ Hope this helps. notamermaid
mlbcruiser Posted July 19, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted July 19, 2021 Yes it definitely does help, notamermaid. The info on it was just what I wanted to know. I google translated a couple of words but you were right, the color codes helped tremendously and are easy to understand. Thanks so much for the great link!
