IamJPT Posted July 25, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2021 Last cruise I got several rccl visa obc certificates applied well before our cruise in hopes that they would show up in my cruise planner so that I could use them. When I did not see them 90 days out I called rccl visa and asked why. They said they usually do not send to rccl until right before the cruise. I told them what I was trying to do any they nicely posted the next day. That all being said - anyone have success in getting the obc applied early so that you can use in cruise planner? I hope I do not have to go through the rccl visa dance again !!!
maureencruiser Posted July 25, 2021 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2021 My understanding has always been that on board credit is exactly that, on board credit to be used on board.

No some onboard credit is available in your cruise planner. OP I always call and within a few days it is posted. Pretty simple.
WVHillbilly Posted July 25, 2021 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2021 I've been able to add it twice for my Aug sailing, once before the 90 days and once after final payment. In the past it was added after the 90 day mark. I don't know what the secret is.
MikeBayAreaCa Posted July 25, 2021 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2021 My cruise is not until February and I’ve already had $200 credited in my cruise planner and just 5,000 more points that were about to expire on Thursday. I expect those to show up very shortly.
