roger001 Posted August 7, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2021 I’m like really missing this. Just saying. Our last cruise, the week before shut down. https://photos.app.goo.gl/qumXS6R1gmFGdqN69
don't-use-real-name Posted August 8, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2021 I have stayed in 12522 same exact floor plan and space (square footage) big balcony. Also in 12030 with the strange small diagonal balcony. Something to note the balconies on deck 12 - the activity can be observed from deck 13. The deck crew generally stores deck lounge chairs against the deck railing moving the viewing point back a bit offering a degree of privacy. The jogging running track runs overhead and the thumpa thumpa of foot pounding the deck can be bothersome during the day - at night the track is roped off limits. Excellent location and a great deal bang for the buck amount of space compared to other suites on this ship. The family suites w/o balcony are the lowest in fare. Very quiet location unless the meeting rooms are being used - Library close by. Port side cabins may have some smoke problems - Smoking area is port side forward on the Pool deck (12) just before entering the air door by the Library. Ah to reminisce about the good times on the good ship DAWN !
HawaiiUK Posted August 8, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2021 We're in 12030 next September! Was trying to find something to suit 2 adults and our adult daughter. I'm so glad to see the photo of the divider out of the wall and what it looks like. That room divider was the deciding factor in choosing this - I felt it afforded a little more privacy for us, and her. Unfortunately I couldn't run to the 2-bed family suite which the three of us had 9 years ago this time round. But I am so looking forward to getting back on board. The balcony's going to be fun, I think - but I'd rather an odd balcony than no balcony at all.
don't-use-real-name Posted August 9, 2021 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2021 When that divider is collapsed into its chamber - BEWARE walking on the track with your bare feet for something other than a pleasant massage of the tootsies ! LOL ! Balcony pictures:
