Pcr testing

I'd like to know before booking an October cruise what will happen if the test you take 3 days prior to travelling home shows positive - does this mean that you can't enter the UK? So what will happen then? I can't find anything on P & O website. I've tried phoning P & O but after holding for ten mins was told it would take an hour to speak to someone so gave up. So far they haven't answered the email I sent them. I phoned an online travel cruise company and they told me that you don't have to take this test on an international cruise returning to the UK but I don't want to rely on this. Has anyone found anything on the P & O website or spoken to P & O about this?

Under the current rules I would say that they are 100% wrong about this ! Saga have already said they will be offering the test on board.
