Capacity on The Edge

Hello All,

I am considering booking the Edge for Sept 4th sailing.  It's kind of soon so I was wondering does anyone know what the capacity will be ?  Just want to make sure I can still get good dinner reservations in all the restaurants.  Another question, are you allowed to sit at bars or do they have the seats closed off for social distancing?

Thanks

.

We were on the Edge, 7/3/21.

Capacity was 41%.

Most places were not crowded at all, except the Martini Bar, martini Bar is small and and very loud. Theatre was not crowded either.

Social distancing was not honored.

If you are looking for a nice quiet place for cocktails we found Eden was very nice !

Of the 4 MDR restaurants we found Tuscan was the most occupied and Cosmopolitan the least.

The pool was never full and plenty of lounge cheers !

Just got off yesterday.  Social distancing did not exist unless one preferred to. Did main dinning only.  Safe travels if you decide to sail.

Thank you for the info. Any covid cases pop up during your sailing? Did you feel comfortable that all the protocalls were enough to book sail again while Delta is surging?

There was one passenger with non covid related emergency that left the ship.  But there were not any covid related announcements,   I felt safer on the ship than at any retail store or venue with hundreds of people.   I feel Celebrity is doing their part in making sure people are vaccinated and tested.  Any social distancing at pool, dining. entertainment, and casino was entirely up to each individual.
