Azamara Quest is departing Piraeus on its first cruise since the pandemic started, it’s a test cruise with invited passengers (apparently ours were lost in the post 😂) but it’s a huge step forward.

Our invitation was lost, also. It is exciting to see the Quest on the move again.

Well, keep your fingers crossed, everyone! I just caught a Gary Bembridge video on YouTube about his very recent cruise on one of the new Virgin mega-ships. Aside from him having a great time, there were large, and I mean large numbers of people on board, with a fairly broad age group. Many were masked, but plenty of opportunity to travel without masking up. He didn't mention just when this trip took place, but clearly, it was very recently. It's pretty obvious that the cruise demand is out there, people want to travel, and are willing to travel.  DW and I just got our booster shots, and come hell or high water, we are going to make that AirFrance flight! Looking forward to actually meeting people in October.
