I seem having problem try to get a travel insurance which will cover diagnose with Covid-19 when we are in the port. MSC said they will not refund if we test positive. Thanks in advance. We have 3 cruises booked within the next year which this will cover. Our TA offered us a policy through Blu (which covers MultiTrip) at around €40 for our cruise on NCL next Sunday. But I rang them today, they said if I test positive at the port /aboard it will not cover the cruise fare, hotel for quarantine, flight home etc. It may cover medical expenses aboard, but we already had medical insurance with Laya. Only covers if I have to cancel due to diagnose with Covid-19 before travel. Both Multitrip.ie and Blue insurance are underwritten by the same company MAPFRE ASISTENCIA. They never said anything like that to me. If we have a negative test within 72 hours of the cruise and test positive at the port, NCL say they’ll cover any costs that our insurance won’t. 🤷♀️ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
