Alaska Cruisetour early arrival

New to this board, hope someone has an answer as Norwegian could not explain to me.  My husband and I are booked for an Alaskan Cruisetour.  The tour part is first and starts on July 12, 2022.  We are booked using NCL air.  In researching air options it appears as though we will not be landing until 11:30PM.  We made the decision that it would be smarter to fly in a day early so we would relax before the tour starts.  Here is my problem, called NCL and they said we could not deviate any more because we have a tour. We are willing to pay extra for the hotel, the NCL rep could give me no reason as to why we could not do this.  Does anyone know why they might not allow us to arrive a day early?  Thanks in advance!

Assuming you are starting in Fairbanks?  If the only commercial flights would get you in at 11:30 pm, it is possible that they are doing a charter, in which case no deviation.  I know they do that for Tahiti.  They fly everyone to LAX, then use a charter from there.
