Carnival Sunrise...what to expect?

YMMV, but I have found that I can find a quiet spot when I want one and join in the party when I want to.  Your cruise is really what you make of it.

In my experience, 5 days are hit or miss.  If it is over a long weekend, it tends to be more of a party.  If not, then it tends to be a little bit more like a 7 day cruise.

Just got off the Sunrise and had a great time. Not crowded at all and service was great. Embarkation and Debarkation was fast, Muster drill took 45 seconds. Spent most of our time in Casino and left happy! Will definitely  cruise Sunrise again, nice break from the bigger ships.

Since the capacity is probaly around 60 to 70 percent, was there an opportunity to upgrade your cabin once you boarded the ship? Or is that something you should reach out for a few days before sailing?
