Ruby Princess - Designated Smoking Areas

I know I'm not supposed to ask, but I am.

What are you looking for on the photos?

Outdoors:

-Standing area on a small section of the promenade deck starboard side aft under the crew access stairs where the promenade narrows to go around the stern.

-An area on deck 16 above the lido pool adjacent to the Tradewinds Bar. This area has tables and chairs and is partially under cover.

-Deck 17 aft underneath Skywalkers. Believe there are some seats there.

Indoors:

Cigarette smoking is permitted:

-in the casino at some designated slots while playing. Some evenings are smoke free. No smoking at table games, at the casino bar or any other area of the casino.

-in a designated section of Skywalkers

Cigar and pipe smoking is permitted in the Speakeasy Cigar Lounge on deck 6 adjacent to the casino. This is the only area on the ship where you can smoke cigars and pipes.

Smoking is not permitted in any cabin or on any balcony.

You can search for video tours or photos on line to catch a glimpse of these areas.

Are you sure there is smoking in Skywalkers?  Seems doubtful to me.

There used to be an area there but I have not seen it for several years

Thanks for the info. Are these still the smoking areas in 2024? I've only been on a few Princess cruises.

I was on the Ruby in March this year.

Area on Promenade deck aft starboard remains. There were a few chairs there.

Deck 16 above the Neptune's Reef pool by the Tradewinds bar. Seats, tables and some cover there.

I never got up to Skywalker's so can't comment.

Casino remains the same, except there are no longer smoke free evenings. Cigarette smoking at some port side slots while playing. No smoking at table games.

The Speakeasy lounge is no longer there. It has been turned into an arcade. No cigar lounge anywhere on board.

No smoking in any cabin or on any balcony.
