Sun beds around main pool

Does anyone know if the sun beds around the main pool are able to be reserved or first come first served? I’m specifically looking at the ones on the Meraviglia.

And they don't want them moved and no food on them.

And no drink either, even if you have an aluminum container full of water!  Note, some of the ones around the steps can get wet in high winds on the Meraviglia.  Cheers,

So far on my b2b I've never seen a day/time where a sun bed wasn't available. It's great not seeing people resorting to chair hogging. It's a great time to be cruising. 🙂

They are also not allowing people to use day beds side by side. MSC is a bit overly protective on spacing.

It doesn't make sense because most of the lounge chairs around the pool are next to each other. 

 

There aren't any restrictions on the double beds at the back of the ship on deck 16 though.
