OBC (from cancelled cruise)

I have OBC from a cancelled cruise (by carnival).  I rebooked my cruise.  My question is... if I have to cancel my rebooked cruise, can I still carry the OBC to whatever cruise I book next?  I will have to wait a bit to rebook, and if I can bank it until then, how long can I keep it banked?

If you can slide it to another cruise then the obc from most things can move with it. For instance protocols released and you cant meet them yet so need to slide it forward. 

 

It's been done, but not that far in advance.

No. Some guests got $600, cancelled and rebooked a 3/4/5 day cruise and had to rebook again. They were stuck with $300 from the shorter cruise.
