FlyingAnchor Posted October 21, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2021 Greetings all, I received a call from our TA yesterday that our Reflection sailing in April 2023 has been canceled as the ship has been redeployed. This follows the cancellation of our 2020 Equinox cruise, which we moved to a 2021 Millennium cruise which also canceled, which we finally moved to this 2023 sailing. This means we still have yet to sail on a Solstice class ship with X 🤣 We will get part of what we paid back in FCC and part as a refund. Unfortunately, the TA wasn't yet able to tell us how long we'd have to use our FCC. They advised that they'd expect everything had to be booked by April of 2022 and used by December 31, 2022. However, our sailing wasn't until 2023 originally, so it seems odd that we'd be forced to sail the year prior or lose the FCC. Does this sound right to anyone else? What have people's experiences been with FCC timelines? Anyone else on this sailing get the call, FCC, and know the guidelines for using it? Thanks in advance! FLCruiser97 Posted October 21, 2021 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2021 I had a FCC timeline question for my TA and she said that they are/or will be extending expiration dates most likely to accomodate rebookings.

FlyingAnchor How was it even possible to use an FCC for a 2023 booking? The rules are to be used by Dec 22 or one year from original date of sailing. Honestly, I don't remember the specifics, as we changed multiple times with each new cancelation, and also quite a long time ago. I can only imagine that at some point the policy was more liberal than it is now?
Cg52 Posted October 21, 2021 #7 Share Posted October 21, 2021 Our understanding is that if Celebrity cancels your cruise they will refund. This is what we have been definitively told.
