Fort Lauderdale Hotel Recommendation

I'm staying at Hyatt Place prior to my cruise in a few weeks, but it's not available for my December cruise.  Prices are higher than I'm used to seeing for early-ish December.

 

Riverside looks pretty reasonable and I don't have a problem being in the older section.  I just might give it a try.  Do they have an airport shuttle or is Uber/Lyft the way to go both from the airport and to the pier?

 

I was thinking about Hilton Marina, but if they tack on $30 resort fee, that puts it at just over $200 as well.

No shuttle, U/L is the way to go.
