Floriade 2022

We will be spending a couple days post cruise in Amsterdam in late April.  Does anyone have an opinion about whether we should buy tickets first. We have luckily visited in the Spring previously and been to Keukenhof Gardens...hoping to again...if we only have time for one which should we pick...since floriade only happens every 10 years my guess it that will be our choice.

Which one you should pick depends on what you want to see. The Floriade is more than a flower exhibit. It’s also about solutions for a sustainable future, horticulture, new technologies for greenery, food, energy etc etc. If that interests you, you should definitely visit the Floriade. But if you just want to see pretty spring flowers, you’re probably better of at the Keukenhof and the surrounding flower fields.

We found Keukenhof a lot more interesting than the Floriade, however OP has been to the gardens so might appreciate the Floriade more this time as it only happens every ten years.
