Pride of America Debarkation Question

Have a Hawaiian Cruise booked on POA for this March.  At the end of the cruise the ship docks in Honolulu at 7:00am.  We have booked a shore excursion with Pearl Harbor Tours who will pick us up at the cruise port along with our luggage.  They would like to know what time I expect to be off the ship so they can schedule our pick up.  With a published 7:00am arrival what is the earliest I can expect to be allowed to disembark?  We have Norwegian’s Priority Access which hopefully should speed up our departure.

Do not use the colored luggage tags and waste time in luggage claim to proceed - - -

Do the Walk-Off

Since the cruise is entirely in USA waters there is no Customs Border Control to hold things up

Use your NCL Priority Access (if in a suite Concierge service) to disembark promptly

walk off with luggage in hand and proceed to the staging area for the shore tour excursion

The tour operator should be able to provide the staging area location and other related details

based on previous customer/guest experiences

Even with heavy cruise traffic - you should be at the Pearl Harbor location within the hour

Tours starting fixed at 8:00 am or variable with the package entertained

Food - find out from the tour operator about any food served during the tour - otherwise

grab a bite to eat before disembarking

According to the “Chat” option on NCL’s website disembarkation normally begins 2 hours after the ship docks.  POA has a published arrival time of 7:00am which would equate to a 9:00am disembarkation time.  The post cruise  Pearl Harbor Tour   Offered by NCL has a departure time of 7:30am so they must allow passengers off the ship well before 9:00am.
