RA for Antartica 2022 - jackets and boots

When making final payment, went to give our jacket and boot sizes, and was told they do not take that information pre cruise.  Do they run out of certain sizes?  What happens if they do not have your size on board?  We are 6 in our group, and we are all about the same sizes.  Other expedition line ask ahead of time for at least the jacket size...and they have it waiting in your cabin.

I did a trip where boots were required and jackets were given to us.  They did ask the size of the jacket but they did not ask about the size of the boots.

Antarctic south of the Antarctic Circle on Fram...  They have plenty of boots in all sizes, as well as jackets which were yours to keep.

• We were on the Fram to the Antarctic in pre-Covid times.  After we departed South America, the was a boot fitting afternoon.  As you probably know, passengers are divided into groups to spread out the landings.  Each group is called to boot fitting area on the deck where the small boats are launched.  Some people were worried that there would not be boots in their size, but everyone got fitted.
