time required for refund to be credited to Credit card?

We had to cancel our cruise before final payment. It was booked with a refundable deposit. does anyone have any experience?

It took about 10 days when I cancelled a few months back. I’d think it should still be similar timing.

Like your situation, amazingly I got my credit of a refundable deposit back within a week just a few weeks ago--call me shocked for sure.  The other side of the coin--on September 9, HA cancelled our Sea of Cortez and Hawaii back-to-backs that were supposed to have been in early November and they were paid in full just three weeks before that.  I finally got the refund November 8, so two months later.

On Nov. 13th, I canceled a Rotterdam  cruise scheduled to depart Jan. 2nd.  Seven  days later, I had our portion of our refund back on our cc.  Still waiting for the FCCs though so that we can apply them towards our March cruise.

The refund finally appeared on our credit card account today, but with a date of November 18.

I cancelled one about a month ago and I think it was 8-10 days.
