Onboard Regal Medallion App…A BIG FAT FAILURE!!

Maybe the difference between those who have success with the app and those who do not is the device being used by each person,

 

With the app needing to work with many brands and models of digital devices with a range of allowable operating systems types and vintages along with different memory capacities, it is possible that success comes to those lucky enough to have devices that the app has been properly tested with.

 

Bgwest -- Can you tell us what type devices, the memory size and the operating system name and revision you use successfully?

Currently on the Regal and will board Enchanted on November 30th.  Our Medallions work great. The app, not so much. Shows us on the Enchanted from November 24-December 10th. Can’t use most of the features as we are on the Regal and the app “thinks” we are on Enchanted.  Both my android phone and IPad show the same thing. Ocean Medallion staff have no clue. 
 

 

It would be interesting if the app could place your order for food/beverage to the staff on the Enchanted and then see if the Enchanted staff could deliver it to your location on the Regal.

@caribillAbsolutely. And you make a good point.

iOS - 14.8.1 (but I've used it successfully since 2018. Have no idea what OS was being used then.)

 

With all the differing results folks have been experiencing, this might make for an interesting discussion.
