Can I throw a get together with food?

Hi,

Is it possible to have a get together in our suite with appetizers? I believe I should ask the Concierge when he emails me next week. Has anybody done this?

Yes, Royal Suite Class guests are welcome to plan a cocktail party in their suite with their family and friends. The Royal Genie (for Star guests), Concierge (for Sky guests) and Guest Services (for Sea guests) can help arrange such experiences onboard. Additional charges will apply, and will be based on the type of request, number of guests, hors d’oeuvres and beverage selections, length of event, etc

I have host a birthday party in my suite for about 20 people, and as NEVERBEENHERE states is all correct.  Had to pay for the appetizer plates.

Such a request is usually not limited to ships with Suite Class (Q and O class ships).
