Edge cruise disappeared from website

We are booked on the May 6, 2022 sailing of the Celebrity Edge departing Rome for the Greek islands etc. and I noticed the cruise is no longer posted on the website. The transatlantic before it is still there as well as the one after - does this happen often? When they take down itineraries is it likely being chartered, or just the itinerary changed? What should my level of panic be (lol)? We were just starting to make travel plans for the week before and wondering if we should hold off. Thanks!

We have had cruises disappear from the website frequently.  Sometimes they are gone for a couple of hours, maybe a few days and then reappear. Inventory management, updates or changes to the Cruise Planner, and IT glitch can cause a cruise to disappear. Unless it disappears for weeks I wouldn’t get concerned.

Usually, with the time frame you're talking about, the cruise may be sold out.   The first Europe cruise after a Transatlantic tends to be popular as a fair number of people on the TA stay aboard for a back-to-back cruise, and others book that cruise as the ship arrives to begin a new season.

I wouldn't worry.

I have seen this a number of times.   Sometimes revenue management takes the site down to balance the bookings especially when they sell a large group booking.    Other times they take it down because the ship is being totally chartered and all reservations will be cancelled and other times just a Celebrity IT Glitch and it comes back in a day or so.     As Harris said - Sometimes it is just sold out.
