Everybody is on the same ship you are. I thought that you pay more for your cabin in the Haven, but the same for entertainment as everyone else. I'd say they most likely mean that since the Haven guests pay a premium for a cabin, they may be entitled to some kind of compensation. I know I have a haven room and paid a bit over $7000 for it to have the experience. Just guessing that is what was meant by the comment. I leave tomorrow for NOLA and we board Sunday 1/2/22 and I just can't wait for this cruise. I like trivia and music and shows if I can make them but if not, I will be just fine sitting by the pool or on my balcony but I wouldn't balk at a shipboard credit for the spa either. Also - if you are on the 1/2/22 Breakaway sailing out of NOLA, it looks like it's going to be a rainy week with a high of 72 and a low of 34 Sunday, High 80 - Low 71 and showers Tuesday in Cozumel High 79 - Low 74 and showers Wednesday in Roatan Bay Islands High 82 - Low 74 in Belize High 82 - Low 73 and rain Friday in Costa Maya Rain can't ruin my vacation! Happy sailing!
bigrednole Posted December 31, 2021 #77 Share Posted December 31, 2021 I am on the Breakaway in April and fear what may happen. Our final payment is at the end of January. FCC will be useless to me because the price I have on this cruise. I am happy to pay for it as long as they give me a future cruise certificate at the rate I paid. All other times we can sail as a family is 2x of what I am paying now.

Unless you were hypothermic or hyperthermic, the outside air temperature has no bearing on your body temperature. I don’t know. When our schools were checking students’ temps with those guns, they warned people not to blast the heat in the car because it could make kids’ temperatures read higher. Usually when they waited for 15 minutes to be re-tested, their temps went down. Kids who rode their bikes to school during the cold months often got artificially low temperature readings. I just don’t think the temperature guns are that accurate.

The body temperature for most people varies from around 97.5 to around 99 every day, depending upon time of day, level of activity, time since their last meal, the type of clothing that they are wearing, and the ambient temperature of their environment. Outside air temperature has little impact on a person's body temp, but it does have a small effect, perhaps just enough to register a false fever reading. Clungers Posted January 1, 2022 #84 Share Posted January 1, 2022 I know things happen, but I feel that cruise lines need to alert passengers before they board of any major changes if they know them.and if they don’t, then be honest why changes are happening. The passengers have the right to make up their minds beforehand rather than feeling like they are trapped without transperancy.

I follow Broadway fairly closely and a bunch of shows are shutting down temporarily or closing entirely. But I wasn't aware of any strikes. Now could there have been some non-strike union action (are the ship's performers even Actors Equity?) or other contractual dispute between NCL and the Powers That Be? Possible, I suppose. No idea, it was vague so could be untrue, I just know it affected the stage productions of kinky boots and choir of man, no other entertainment stopped. Maybe a story they were just giving us
