1/15/22 Apex stop in San Juan day 3 cancelled and added Nassau on day 7

Noticed this change this morning.

I believe I read that Puerto Rico had imposed new restrictions on passengers on port stops (not embarkation/disembark) so a lot of lines have decided to skip San Juan.

Apex was recently denied entry to Nassau due to some new requirements by the Bahamas.  Not sure if it was regarding required testing or # of COVID cases on board.

We have this itinerary on the 29th sailing... Will you drop a hint to the Captain that we would not mind a Ste Maarten stop instead?

I expected this change, however I believe other changes can occur.  We will still enjoy the ship and realize other ports could say no.  For us it is about the new Apex which we have not been on an E class ship yet. We have been to the islands many times so staying on the ship is fine.

We’re on the 29th sailing and wondering if St. Kitts and St. Martin will be open.  We booked two Celebrity excursions for both ( usually do private or on our own).  Rethinking those as don’t want to be on a big bus with ma y others.  If you can, can you check of one is allowed to go off on own ( ie cab to beach, town). Thanks so much.
