  1. Just like Disney and their parks, as long as people are coming we’ll keep raising prices.
  2. It was noticed tonight that the 1/25 port of call is now Belize City and not Roatan.
  3. With Starling being used the clear path to the equator, where the old geostationary satellites are located, that isn't a problem anymore.
  4. So what are we talking about $ wise for this?
  5. MCO to Port Canaveral is about 50 miles. IAH, the furthest from Galveston, is about 65 miles. So IMHO the distance from an airport can't be that much of a factor since Port Canaveral at times is the busiest cruise port in the US.
  6. When we sailed on RC from Galveston, while we were in the concierge lounge we could get wine, beer and soda because we were in a suite and didn't need a package. So if we're in a suite on Princess is there a lounge that would also do the same until in international waters?
  7. The wife and I were lucky enough to win a free cruise from playing Deal or No Deal last September. The Blue Chip club provided us a link to a web site where we could see what cruise were available, but all they showed were 2023 cruises and we couldn't take any of what was listed due to the conflicts. When I asked when 2024 cruise would be listed I was told the web site is updated once a quarter. But after not seeing any updates still I sent an email to the Blue Chip club and they responded they aren't using the web site anymore and you need to call in to schedule a cruise. So my question is has anyone used this new way to find a cruise and any hints of what's being shown as available for 2024? I really wasn't looking forward to having to wait on hold to talk to someone and then have to play 20 questions to find a cruise to take. Thanks be informed that we no longer provide the Deal or No Deal link via email as the updated list of ships and sail dates are now available for quotations and reservations over the phone. Please feel free to call and speak with one of our Blue Chip Club agents
  8. We just did a 12 night British Isle cruise on the Alex last month.
  9. While we don’t have a dedicated butler there is the team that still needs the gratuity.
  10. If you will be flying into an airport I think you can get a same day interview if you’ve started your application, https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/enrollment-arrival
  11. I wonder how many concurrent people they have on hold in the queue? Calls to 800 numbers aren’t free to Celebrity so would they actually save money by implementing a call back system vs keeping people on hold in the queue,
  12. Without having to go through the entire thread is is just Sky Suite or Sky Suite and Celebrity Suites getting the change? If just Sky Suite can the title of the thread please be changed?
  13. We wouldn’t have know if a current butler hadn’t spilled the beans, guess they didn’t expect that.
  14. I wonder if this change and the other recent ones is the new CEO trying to make her mark on the company?
  15. We have a 9 night on the Ascent booked for May next year in a CS. I check every now and then to see if there was a price drop but was surprised to see that it was now $9,446.98 more than what we paid for it, that's one heck of an increase. I again looked after posting this, it went up another $1,000 so now $10,446.98 higher than what we booked it for.
  16. Just wanted to say thanks for the report. We’re doing the British Isle cruise in a few weeks and this was a nice preview of what we can expect.
  17. What’s it worth, it’s worth it if you think it is.
  18. I really wish that the companies that are facing long wait times constantly would implement the call back option, much nicer way to handle the bad service.
  19. That’s different, in your traditional room there is no second door between that door and the room. In the IV rooms there is that additional barrier/doors which can be closed to separate the outdoors from the conditioned area.
  20. IMHO, if they would just change the HVAC system so it would run if the window was open but the doors going into the room were closed would eliminate a lot of the unhappiness with the cabin.
  21. AKAIK, the requirement is that every 5 years a ship has to go into dry dock for inspection and maintenance so this would fit that time frame. As to making any major changes in the time schedule it wouldn't like like anything major would be happening.
  22. My wife wasn't sure about it but once in board she loved all the sea days that we had in the full east to west coast transit.
  23. Thanks for all the replies, I’ve sent them onto the person that needed to know.

Your private adventure begins at the port in Naples where you'll board a private charter for a scenic drive along the coast with your knowledgeable guide. Along the way, you'll catch a glimpse of Mount Vesuvius, the tallest of a row of volcanoes visible from the coast. After a brief respite in Positano, your journey continues onward to the fabled town of Sorrento.
