Viking Ocean Facts

For all those cruise geeks who might be interested:

When booking I always want to know which way the bed faces (prefer facing forward when in bed).

Viking sent me a .pdf file showing bed direction...it's the same across all the Ocean fleet.

The top 5th of the page is cut off...Viking hasn't updated the file...but you can figure out the pattern pretty easy.

Also the Viking Ocean fleet have 360 degree webcams mounted on top of the ships which update about every 15-20 minutes.

Just change to ship name in the search bar for your ship

Note that the Star's last webcam was in 2018.  Not functional now.

Also, the Sea and Sky are not functional.

Jupiter, Orion, and Venus are the only ones that appear to be working.

I thought the Panomax cameras were first installed beginning with the Sun and later ships.  Didnt know they were on the earlier boats.  (Hi Kent)

Thanks for the map - but I can't believe that we were in Room 4024 on our cruise in October on the Sky and to be in Room 4013 in May on the Star - and those are the few rooms I can't see on the room maps - darn it!
