Here are the relevant points...

 

All ships should be sailing by Spring.

This should be the last big Covid wave.

Things will be looking much better in a month.

A pill form of treatment is coming very soon.

Cruising is safer than other forms of travel.

SO many positive cases will limit the virus's future ability to mutate.

Might be a bad winter NEXT year for the regular flu.

Covid pill 2nd quarter of this year.

Europe should be good for sailing late spring/summer of this year.

Any predictions about masks, especially on airplanes and ships ?  Or will the likely decline in cases by attributed to mask-wearing (which would likely mean they will be with us for years)?

The Dr. basically said Covid would fade away quietly as opposed to ending with a bang...I took it to mean that in 6 months the world would treat this as the flu and basically ignore it as the incidence rate would be under 5 per 100,000 (I think that is what he said).

 

All in all, it was a nice little bit of info sharing.

I think the context was that ok = much closer to normal than now.

Thanks for posting this. Pretty much mirrors what I have thought and glad to hear it from a former FDA head.
